You are in for a real treat! This edition of the Virtual Vineyard is an absolute must for those who look for and appreciate truly handcrafted wine. Bruce and Barbara Neyers are artisan winemakers in the truest sense, taking their cues from classic French winemaking philosophies. All of their grapes are picked by hand, put into small bins, and laboriously hand sorted and selected as the winemaker himself gently guides the process along. They make all of their wines naturally, without the use of cultured yeast or laboratory designed malolactic starter, and they bottle their wines without fining or filtration. The wines are aged with as little intervention as possible, in barrels made of wood imported from France and air dried for three years (two years longer than normal). Because of this painstaking process, Neyers wines express pure varietal character & terroir, and on June 26th you will have the opportunity to enjoy them yourself. And just to make the occasion even more special, Owner & Winemaker, Bruce Neyers will join us live from Napa Valley and walk us through the tasting for a one-of-a-kind oenological experience.
The tasting includes a phenomenal selection of wines (5 bottles with your order) that have been handpicked by Mr. Neyers himself and paired with a wonderful charcuterie & cheese board creation by Bentwater's Certified Master Chef, Olivier Andreini.

It's impossible to overstate the importance and impact of Bruce's high school sweetheart on everything he does. Once Bruce & Barbara established themselves in the wine country they began honing in on the art, science, and love of food & wine pairings. So much so that Barbara left her teaching career to apply for and be hired on as a chef at Chez Panisse, where she would eventually work her way into management. She is a wonderful cook and she has personally offered up some of her favorite recipes for you to prepare in your home and enjoy during this tasting. Bruce will walk us through the flavor profiles and how food pairings affect his winemaking philosophy. ENJOY!

3. Your wine order and charcuterie & cheese board will be ready for pick-up on June 26th between 12:00pm - 5:00pm. Tell us when you're on the way, by calling 936-597-2508, and we'll bring it to you curbside at the Clubhouse. We do recommend that you open your bottles of wine 30 minutes before the event begins.
4. On June 26th at 6:00pm, grab your phone, tablet, computer or laptop and a comfy spot on the couch as you join us live for a fun afternoon at the Virtual Vineyard!
If you need to cancel your order, please note that a 72-hour notice of cancellation (by calling 936-597-2508 or by email to [email protected]) is required prior to June 23rd at 5:00pm, or 50% of the price of the event, plus tax, will be charged to your member account.
