Our speakers this month are FBI Special Agent (SA) Donnita Gordon and Supervisory Special Agent Jeannette Milazzo who will provide an overview of human trafficking, how to identify victims of human trafficking, and how to most effectively deal with victims of human trafficking. If you think we are not affected by this crime, you need to attend to find out what is happening in our county. This meeting is open to all members, their spouses, significant other, or friend. Special Agent Donnita Gordon -FBI
Houston Division
Donnita Gordon has been employed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) since 1990. Prior to becoming an Agent with the FBI, Special Agent (SA) Gordon worked as a Public Affairs Specialist (PAS) in the Press Office at FBI Headquarters (FBIHQ) where she wrote national press releases for the FBI. In 1994, Agent Gordon was designated as an SA and assigned to the Houston Division. Subsequent to her arrival in Houston, SA Gordon worked international and domestic terrorism, counterintelligence, a variety of criminal violations, to include narcotics, bank fraud, and money laundering. In 2009, SA Gordon was promoted to a Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) and was assigned to FBIHQ where she was the Counterterrorism Program Manager for the Anchorage, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle Field Divisions. In 2012, SA Gordon was designated as the Assistant Legal Attaché assigned to the United States Embassy, Kingston, Jamaica, where she was responsible for all administrative and operational aspects of the FBI with regard to Jamaica. In 2013, SA Gordon returned to the Houston Division and was assigned to the Civil Rights and Human Trafficking Task Force (HTTF) where she investigated international human trafficking matters. In 2015, SA Gordon was assigned to the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force where she currently investigates domestic human trafficking and crimes against children matters.
Supervisory Special Agent Jeanette Milazzo - FBI
Houston Division
Jeanette Milazzo entered into the FBI as a Special Agent in March 2009. After her training at Quantico, she was assigned to the Los Angeles Division, where she worked the Los Angeles Metropolitan Task Force on Violent Gangs. SA Milazzo worked jointly with LAPD Southwest Division investigating various sets of Blood and Crip gangs throughout South Los Angeles. In March 2017, SA Milazzo was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent at the Safe Streets and Gang Unit, providing oversight to the FBI's gang programs in some of the most violent cities in the United States, to include Chicago, Detroit and St. Louis. In January 2019, SSA Milazzo transferred to the Houston Division as a field supervisor of the Crimes Against Children and Human Trafficking squad, which includes the joint FBI/HPD Child Exploitation Human Trafficking Task Force.
