ELIMINATOR SCRAMBLE CHALLENGE

SATURDAY,  JANUARY 19th

Time:                   10:00am - Shotgun

Course:              Miller  

Entry Fee:      $40 per player

Format:           

• Three-Man Scramble – All three players tee off and select the best drive.  On the second shot the two players whose drive was not chosen each hit from the same location and the best ball is again chosen. On the third shot the two players whose second shot was not chosen each hit from the same location and the best ball is chosen. This process continues until the ball is holed. Both balls may be moved or placed within one club length and no nearer the hole and must be played from the same like condition.  [Rough to rough] not [rough to fairway]

• Choose your own teams.  Singles are encouraged to call the Golf Shop and they will attempt to assist. Maximum 8 stroke differential between partners

• Two Teams per Tee Box

• Cut-Off for Team drops/adds in January 17^th at 5 PM. Individual drops from team need to be addressed by other team members for replacements.

• Maximum 36 teams

Handicaps:     

• Team handicap = [(A+B+C)/3] x 50%

• Certain handicaps may be adjusted due to section 3-5 of USGA Handicap Manual (Competition from Different Tees)

Tees:          Silver (with approval of MGA Board), Red, White, Blue  

Flights:       Based on participation and team handicaps

Rules:        2019 USGA rules will govern all play

Payouts:      Gross and Net Prizes will be awarded in each flight

Keg and Scoring will follow at the scoreboard
