2019 Grand Pines Cup

We have an exciting "new" event this year – The 2019 Grand Pines Cup – Come Join the Fun!

Members qualify throughout the year for this Ryder Cup Style format culminating on Nov. 23rd and 24th

Format

• A 16-person "Ryder Cup style" team match play event comprised of two 8-player teams
• Players will accumulate points throughout the year to make the team
• Top 16 players (4 ladies and 12 men) will be invited to participate
• Golf Professionals will select each team from the 16-player pool
• The two-day event will consist of alternate shot, best ball and individual match formats

Accumulating Points

• Members receive 10 points for every guest they bring out (includes guest passes)
• Friday Forest Fights
  • Held every Friday, members receive 10 points for participating in the game
  • Entry fee $10
  • An additional $10 skins game will be held in conjunction
  • 1st Place – 30 points, 2nd Place – 20 points, 3rd Place – 10 points
  • Play at your own tee time
• Special Guest Days are double-point days
• Major Tournaments will have the opportunity to accumulate as many as 200 points

  • Stroke Play Championship
    • 1st Place in each flight will receive 200 points, 2nd Place – 180 points,3rd Place – 160 points, 4th Place – 140 points, 5th Place – 120 points,6th Place – 100 points, 7th Place – 80 points, 8th Place – 60 points
• Mid-Major events will have the opportunity to accumulate as many as 100 points
  • Couples Member-Guest
  • Member-Member
    • 1st Place in each flight will receive 100 points, 2nd Place – 90 points,3rd Place – 80 points, 4th Place – 70 points, 5th Place – 60 points,6th Place – 50 points, 7th Place – 40 points, 8th Place – 30 points
