 Nobel Prize Winner Dr. James Allison and Dr. Pam Sharma, World Renowned
Immunologists, to Speak at November 14th BLO Luncheon We are very privileged to have Dr. Jim Allison and Dr. Pam Sharma join us for or November 14th luncheon. Dr. Allison is the Regental Chair of Immunology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Director of MD Anderson's James P. Allison Institute. He was awarded the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his discoveries that launched the field of cancer immunotherapy. Dr. Sharma is Professor of Genitourinary Medical Oncology and Immunology at MD Anderson, and she serves as the Director of Scientific Programs for the Allison Institute. She also is an immunotherapy pioneer, leading some of the earliest clinical trials in the field. Together, they are focused on leading innovative research to gain a deeper understanding of immunotherapy and bring the benefits of this powerful treatment to all patients.

Mix & Mingle Join us for our Mix & Mingle events at the Club. We meet from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Country Club's Crescent Grille on the Thursday following our monthly Luncheons. Come meet your neighbors for fun, fellowship, and Happy Hour prices! Partners are welcome. No reservations are required for the Mix & Mingle, but if you plan to stay for dinner, reservations are recommended.
