Bentwater's Sunday Music Series

“Jazz in the Afternoon”

Our next musical event will be held at the Yacht Club on March 3, 2019 at 3:00 PM.   Jazz is characterized by strong, prominent meter, improvisation, distinctive tone colors & performance techniques, and dotted or syncopated rhythmic patterns. But Jazz is so much more than that.  Come over to the Yacht Club and hear it richly played.

Individual tickets are $35.00 Please procure tickets at the Bentwater Country Club Front Office.  The full proceeds from the ticket sales are a tax-deductible contribution to the SHSU School of Music Scholarship program.

Come a little early for a cocktail or light beverage, and bring your friends.  After the concert plan on spending time socializing with the fabulous faculty and student musicians, while enjoying hors d’oeuvres.  We look forward to having you share and enjoy a musical afternoon.  Ask those who came to the last one….it was entertaining and fun.

* The last concert date will be April 14th.  It will be A brilliant Faculty String Quartet.   Place the date on your calendar!
