In 1991, Dr. Jan Krupp and his brother Bart purchased a 750 acre parcel of rugged mountain terrain in Napa Valley.  Though harsh, strewn with rocks (some the size of an SUV), and choked with Chaparral scrub brush, the brothers believed they had a diamond in the rough. Facing a desert mountain landscape at 1,850 feet above sea level, with no power, no legal right of access, no known water, and a half-million tons of rock and boulder that had to be removed, the brothers overcame all of the odds and transformed the uncharted land into one of Napa's most renowned vineyards – Stagecoach Vineyard.  And that is just the beginning.  Join us May 29th as Dr. Jan Krupp himself leads you through a tasting of some of the finest wine Napa Valley has ever produced.

The tasting includes a phenomenal selection of wines (4 bottles with your order) that have been handpicked by Dr. Krupp himself and paired with a wonderful charcuterie & cheese board creation by Bentwater's Certified Master Chef, Olivier Andreini.

A Word from the Vineyard

Our winery is the dream of two brothers who nurtured a passion for wine over decades. After setting down roots in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jan - an internist with a private medical practice - pursued his winemaking as a hobby for 15 years. While continuing to commute to his medical practice, Jan moved to Napa in 1991 and began to tend grapes – first planting a vineyard surrounding his family's house and then with the help of Bart, he would develop what would become one of Napa's most iconic vineyards, Stagecoach.

In 1999, Jan and Bart founded Krupp Brothers, producing their first vintage: An extraordinary Cabernet Sauvignon.  Our wines begin at the source – fruit from select blocks that have been carefully chosen by Jan. Today, each wine in our collection – from our mountain Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignons to our Rhone-style Syrah and Tempranillo-based red – embody the vision and passion that has guided the two brothers. 3.   Your wine order and charcuterie & cheese board will be ready for pick-up on May 29th between 12:00pm - 5:00pm.  Tell us when you're on the way, by calling 936-597-2508, and we'll bring it to you curbside at the Clubhouse.

4.   On May 29th at 6:00pm, grab your phone, tablet, computer or laptop and a comfy spot on the couch as you join us live for a fun afternoon at the Virtual Vineyard!

If you need to cancel your order, please note that a 72-hour notice of cancellation (by calling 936-597-2508 or by email to [email protected]) is required prior to May 26th at 5:00pm, or 50% of the price of the event, plus tax, will be charged to your member account.
