On a spring day in 1972, while piloting his plane over the Russian River, Chalk Hill's founder, Fred Furth, caught his first view of a natural amphitheater carved into the hills of eastern Sonoma. Something in him immediately knew, that tract of land had the potential to support a world-class vineyard. A subsequent tour confirmed that the spectacular property indeed had the climate and soils capable of producing luxury-class wine grapes.  Today, with over 130 90+ point rated wines, Chalk Hill Estate has earned its place as one of the most iconic wineries in Sonoma County; perhaps no other captures the casual luxury of Sonoma County better. Founded nearly four decades ago, this spectacular 1300-acre property features 300 acres of vineyards, wilderness areas, winery, hospitality center, culinary garden -- and that's just the beginning.

Beyond its gorgeous estate, Chalk Hill's never-ending quest for quality serves as the basis for all winemaking decisions, yielding some of the best wines from the region. Many varietals and vintages have been donned with acclaims from some of the most notable publications in the industry including Wine Spectator, The Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and others.

The tasting includes a phenomenal selection of wines (5 bottles with your order) and paired with a wonderful charcuterie & cheese board creation by Bentwater's Certified Master Chef, Olivier Andreini.

2. Upon confirmation we will send you a Zoom Conferencing link by email with the Zoom Meeting ID#, along with easy to follow instructions.

3. Your wine order and charcuterie & cheese board will be ready for pick-up on August 28th between 12:00pm - 5:00pm.  Tell us when you're on the way, by calling 936-597-2508, and we'll bring it to you curbside at the Clubhouse.  We do recommend that you open your bottles of wine 30 minutes before the event begins.

4. On August 28th at 6:00pm, grab your phone, tablet, computer or laptop and a comfy spot on the couch as you join us live for a fun evening at the Virtual Vineyard!

If you need to cancel your order, please note that a 72-hour notice of cancellation (by calling 936-597-2508 or by email to [email protected]) is required prior to August 25th at 5:00pm, or 50% of the price of the event, plus tax, will be charged to your member account.
