Attention All MOBsters……..!!

"Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Hear Ye!!"

Our speaker this month will be Stacy LaBruyere, representing the Montgomery Independent School District (MISD). Stacy will be leading a very informative discussion on the various "post-secondary" pathways and options our MISD students have available to them. In her presentation Stacy will explain MISD's local scholarship application process, important dates to remember, and details about the Senior Scholars Night event.

Stacy has been involved in public education for over 24 years. She has held a variety of positions in several districts throughout Texas, from elementary teacher to dyslexic intervention specialist, librarian and administrator. Stacy is currently the College and Career Coordinator for Montgomery I.S.D. She has served in this role for 3 years. In her role, she oversees the library, Career & Technical Education, and College Readiness Programs for both Lake Creek High School and Montgomery High School.

Stacy has led many training sessions and presentations at various conferences, including TCEA, Region VI ESC Technology Conferences, and Region VI Texas Adolescent Literary Academies. She is also a Texas OnCourse Leader Fellow representing the Region 6 Education Service Center in the state of Texas.
