Pinehurst Alternate Shot
Each competitor plays from the teeing ground. After the tee shot, partners select the ball with which they intend to score. The ball must then be played as it lies and played alternately to complete the hole. If Player A's shot was chosen after the tee shot, the Player B will play the next shot and so forth until the ball is holed. Penalty strokes do not affect the order of play. There is a maximum gross score of 10 on every hole.
HANDICAPS
50% of the combined handicaps will be used to determine the team handicap. There is a maximum eight (8) stroke differential between handicaps. Partners who exceed this differential will have the higher handicap adjusted down accordingly. Certain handicaps may be adjusted based on Section 3-5 of the USGA Handicap Manual (Competition from Different Tees). For example, if the majority of the players within a flight are playing the white tees, a player playing the red tee's handicap may be reduced by two shots to even the playing field.
TEES
Tees (Silver, Red, White, Blue) should be assigned where the player's handicap has been established.
RULES
USGA rules will govern play. Ties will be broken using USGA recommended , Back 9, Last 6, Last, 3, 18th Hole scorecard playoff.
SCORING

PRIZES
The number of payouts will be based on the total number of participants.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Registration deadline is August, 14th at 12:00pm.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel after the registration deadline, you will be billed the entire entry fee.
