Our featured speaker is Dr. Raza Pasha, MD who has a specialty in Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Pasha is a nationally known guest speaker for health-related television and radio programs. Dr. Pasha's talk will focus on sleep apnea and sleep disorders common to the older population.
Join Bentwater Ladies Now The annual membership drive for Bentwater Ladies continues. All women of Bentwater are invited to join. Bentwater Ladies offers a myriad of activities and events for all members. There are several ways to pay dues and sign-up for activities and events. Membership forms will be available at the February 8th luncheon; can be downloaded from the BLO website at www.bentwaterladiesorganization.com; obtained from Kay Pontious at [email protected]; or found in drop boxes from Kay Pontious, 182 Wedgewood Dr; Val Gerbino, 142 Creekwood E., LuAnn Banks, 3 Brookgreen Circle N, or Patricia Wright, 84 W. Shore Lane. Completed forms along with dues payments may also be put in these drop boxes or mailed to Kay. Activity sign-up forms are available online at www.bentwaterladiesorganization.com. The form has a description of the various groups such as, Canasta, Bridge, Bunco etc. Dues for 2021 are as follows: Members who belonged in 2020, $15; those who did not belong in 2020, $30; and those who joined after July 1, 2020, $0. The board of BLO reduced dues for members who belonged in 2020 due to less activity in 2020. Checks should be made payable to B.L.O.
Safety First at BLO Luncheons In compliance with State restrictions for COVID19, the Yacht and Country Club are working to maintain safety. BLO members should wear masks or face shields at monthly luncheons, except when dining. No more than 8 people will be seated at a table and tables are spaced 6 feet apart. Maximum capacity is 96. Please practice social distancing.
Mix It Up with Your Neighbors All BLO members are invited to Mix & Mingle at our monthly get together at the Country Club Grill. Come meet neighbors for fun and fellowship. Happy hour prices and partners are welcome to come. The next Mix & Mingle is Thursday, February 11th, 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
