Thank you to everyone who participated in last week's Forest Fight. We had a great time and we're looking forward to another great day of golf this Friday. This week is the first Friday of the month and that means it's an individual stroke play event.

Grand Pines Cup Points System
The Points System has been updated for this year's qualifying tournament schedule. All points will be performance based and will lead to qualifying for the 2020 Grand Pines Cup, a Ryder Cup Style Event, with Head Golf Professional Roland Thatcher and Director of Golf Mark Steinbauer serving as the playing team captains. Players will earn FedEx Cup style "Grand Pines Points" based on their results from each event. Standings on the "Points List" will determine the top 6 Gross and top 16 Net qualifiers for the 2020 Grand Pines Cup, played in November. Players will choose the division they wish to compete in. As with PGA Tour players, club members will strive throughout the season to move up the "points list" in order to qualify for the 2020 Grand Pines Cup. At the end of the season, the Gross and Net "Players of the Year" will be awarded based on the "points list".
Forest Fights will begin with a 12:00pm shotgun every Friday through November. PGA Tour Level Forest Fights will be individual events. Korn Ferry Level events will be team events with varying formats. We are happy to help find partners for you during team events. We also encourage you to invite a guest to play and take advantage of the "Friday Forest Fight Guest Rate" of $75 (including the cart!).
Be sure to join us for Happy Hour at the Lodge following your Friday rounds from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. We'll see you at the Club!
